Acer chromebooks

Task

Our task was to launch Acer’s new range of Chromebooks. But a few barriers existed in that many regular laptop users had recently upgraded their laptops to brand new Windows machines when we switched to working from home.

Insight

We needed to speak to the people who were due an upgrade, those booting up slow running, poorly performing, frustratingly ineffective machines day-in-day-out.

For these users, Acer offered a way out of their daily battles, we just needed to show them the error of their ways.

What we did

To make sure those who were open to a new laptop chose an Acer Chromebook we partnered with online comedians Stevie and Lola-Rose, already well versed in illuminating the frustrations of bad tech in skits our audience would be able to recognise all too well.

Results

Sales of the Acer Chromebook exceeded all targets, with a 12% higher average selling price than before the campaign ran.
